General Information: Shipping, Returns, & Warranty
World of Décor utilizes shipping services from Fedex, UPS, and USPS for small parcels, while larger offerings require freight line transportation. World of Décor’s free shipping offer includes curbside front of the home delivery within the continental United States. Special services such as inside, white glove, or assembly are not part of World of Décor’s free shipping offer. If you would like to request a quote for special services at delivery, please email email@example.com. All in stock orders will usually ship within 3 business days of payment with special orders being quoted an appropriate lead time
While rare damages occasionally happen, and time is of the essence in reporting. Every World of Décor shipment is insured against damage in transit. Please make sure to inspect all packages upon delivery and notate any damages on the delivery receipt prior to signing. It is important that damages are notated on the delivery receipt for claims to be honored. Open and inspect all packages in a timely manner, damages must be reported within 72 hours of receipt. To report a damage please email QAD3@worldofdecor.com. Please include in your submission your order number, photos of the damage, and a brief description of the issue. It is important that you do not throw away the packaging it must be retained for inspection. Failure to retain packaging will result in denial of claim. All damage claims will be handled in accordance with the carriers claim policy and should be referred to for carrier specific details.
Incomplete Shipments/Parts Requests
In the event that you receive an incomplete shipment or are missing hardware or parts, please email QAD3@worldofdecor.com for assistance. Please include in your submission your order number and a description of the issue.
World of Décor offers a 30-day return policy. If for any reason you are unhappy with your order simply email firstname.lastname@example.org within 30 days of receipt, to request a return authorization. All returns must be approved by World of Décor. No returns will be accepted without approved return authorization number. The buyer must return the item in the condition it was received prior to any credit being issued. The buyer is responsible for all return freight which will be deducted from the final credit. If additional damage is done to the piece, sabotaging, or mishandling of the merchandise takes place World of Décor reserves the right to charge a 20% restocking fee or refuse delivery and deny the return. No returns on any merchandise will be accepted after 30 days. All refunds will be provided in the same method of payment used at time of purchase. No cash refunds will be issued. All clearance, special, and custom order merchandise are final sales no returns allowed. Anything not explicitly covered in the return policy will be decided at the sole discretion of the World of Décor and will be considered on a case by case basis.
When you buy from the World of Décor, buy with the confidence that we stand behind the products that we sell. All manufacturer’s warranties transfer to original purchaser guaranteeing the item to be free from defect. To report warranty claims please email QAD3@worldofdecor.com. Please remember to include a copy of your receipt, photos of the issue being reported, and a brief description of the defect. World of Décor will handle the claim on your behalf with the manufacturer. All warranty claims will be handled in accordance with the specific terms and conditions of the manufacturer’s warranty policy. Warranty resolution includes but is not limited to replacement parts, exchange, or substitution at the discretion of the manufacturer.
